This exotic necklace is made up of semi-baroque Edison freshwater cultured pearls, in multicolored tones and with a metallic sheen, 9-10 mm long and 45 cm long.
Edison pearls have been discovered in recent years and represent a recent innovation in the freshwater pearl category. Instead of growing these pearls with a tissue graft like all other freshwater pearls, a core is used. This is the method used to grow the most exotic saltwater pearls. The results are simply amazing.
The colors of these pearls are natural and the shine is so intense that it is called "metallic". Pearls with pink tones are only found within freshwater pearls, there is no Saltwater Oyster capable of creating pearls with these tones.
The semi-baroque shape means that the pearl is not completely uniform, but quite round to the naked eye.
The necklace is strung on silk with a knot between each pearl to prevent them from rubbing against each other and scratching. The 18-carat gold clasp is equipped with a safety tab so that the necklace is always protected.
