This 43" AAA quality Edison Freshwater cultured pearl necklace features 31 pearls with a very clean surface, a very intense luster and a very round shape.

The pearls range from 12 to 14 mm, the largest being those in the center of the necklace.

Edison pearls have been discovered in recent years and represent a recent innovation in the freshwater pearl category. Instead of growing these pearls with a tissue graft from a donor mussel, like all other freshwater pearls, a spherical core is used. This is the method used to grow the most exotic saltwater pearls. The results are simply amazing. Pearls to non-expert eyes are practically identical to those of the Australian South Sea, the most valuable pearls in the world.

The necklace is strung on silk with a knot between each pearl to prevent them from rubbing against each other. The 18-carat gold clasp is equipped with a safety tab so that the necklace is always protected.
