This exotic graduated necklace is made up of 10-14mm high gloss Edison baroque freshwater cultured pearls, 45cm long.
Edison pearls have been discovered in recent years and represent a recent innovation in the freshwater pearl category. Instead of growing these pearls with a tissue graft like all other freshwater pearls, a spherical core is used. This is the method used to grow the most exotic saltwater pearls. The results are simply amazing. Pearls to non-expert eyes are practically identical to those of the Australian South Sea, the most valuable pearls in the world.
The shine of these pearls is so intense that it is called "metallic". Irregular shapes give a very natural and organic look.
